# Metadata Cleaner

> Browser-based privacy tool that strips EXIF, GPS, XMP, and C2PA AI-content tags from images, video, and audio files. All processing happens locally in the browser — files never leave the device. Free tier covers single-file cleaning; Pro tier adds unlimited batch + ZIP downloads. Also available as a Chrome extension.

The product was built for two audiences: privacy-conscious individuals who don't want GPS in their photos, and AI-using content creators (Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT image, Photoshop AI) whose exports carry C2PA "content credentials" that platforms like Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube read at upload time and use to throttle reach.
